Let me introduce myself...
Hey girl, I'm Brittany and I’m so glad you’ve come to check me out. I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist since 2010 and have been a lover of all things girly since as far back as I can remember. I actually went to hair school in hopes of making a business around doing makeup and knew that I had to become a licensed cosmetologist in order to legally do so (or at-least that’s what I thought.) Thankfully, while I was there, I got bitt by the hair bug and have truly fallen in love with this industry ever since.
The joy that I get from working behind the chair comes from a combination of many things. I love that I get to show up to a job everyday that never feels like work; I feel as though I am “playing” all day long.
One of the most precious parts of my job is that I get to have good conversation with awesome women for hours at a time. I am always grateful for the deep connection that I share with my clients. In the hair chair, people are raw and real in a way that (let’s be honest) most people don’t do with one another very often these days. I honor that and fully embrace this opportunity for sisterhood that we are all invited to be a part of. I will forever be humbled and grateful that my clients trust me on more levels than just with their hair.
I am truly just an artist at heart and hair is my craft. A huge part of me comes alive each time I put on those gloves and pick up that color brush. I feel a rush of energy that can only best be described as passion. Although I do most services related to salon hair care, coloring/lightening is by far my favorite.
I love being able to take a canvas and accent it in a way to highlight my client’s natural God-given beauty. My specialty color technique is called organic lived-in color because it feels like you and it lasts the test of time. Most of my clients only get their hair done quarterly and even then, come in to their appointments raving about how good their hair STILL looks, 3 - 4 months later.
My main goal with every client is to give her easily maintainable healthy hair that suits her face shape,
skin tone, and lifestyle. Although color is my favorite, I also specialize in dry curly cuts and styling.
This stick straight haired girl, LOVES her some curly hair to play with; These girls are my lioness’
and I am always excited to give them a style that embraces their natural locks and the
education to be able to emulate it at home.
I believe that the salon should be a place of honesty and when you hire me as your stylist, You value my role as the professional who will tell you the truth. If something is going to add weight to your face, you need to know before we move forward. If that haircut you just love means that you have to blow your curls out straight and flat iron them every day, then I’m going to talk with you about that before we make the leap.
